A warm welcome at Dragonfly Cottage B&B begins before you reach the garden gate. We have invested in our website to help you picture a stay with us, choose a room and feel prepared for your time in Marlborough. Whether you are coming from elsewhere in New Zealand or planning a journey from overseas, we want the first look around our Grovetown home to feel welcoming and useful.
Our design and development partner, Web Aloha, rebuilt the website from WordPress using Astro. The aim was to bring the rooms, shared spaces and local advice together in a way that makes planning a stay more straightforward, while keeping Anne’s home and garden at the centre of the story.

In the room section, you can compare the garden outlook of the Exquisite Dragonfly King Room, the Queen Bedroom and the comfortable double bed in the Victorian Room. Open the photographs for a closer look before deciding which room feels right for your visit.
Travelling together? The entire-cottage option has its own description and photographs. Bedroom 4, with its twin or queen arrangement, is only available with an entire-cottage booking. The room details and booking links give you a practical starting point; Anne is happy to answer questions about which arrangement would suit your plans.
Make yourself familiar with the little comforts
A stay here includes more than your bedroom. Browse the garden and Grovetown galleries, then look through the photographs of the lounge, dining area, kitchen and spa in our facilities section. You can get a feel for the shared spaces and imagine where you might unwind after a day out.
The practical details are there too: robes, slippers and a towel for the spa are provided, and continental breakfast is available on request before arrival. Knowing what to ask for ahead of time helps us prepare for your visit.

Dependable operation and security were priorities in the rebuild, alongside making the photographs and information comfortable to browse on a phone. Clearer accommodation and location details are also intended to help travellers find the cottage through search engines and AI travel tools. Google’s loading-speed checks gave the refreshed site strong scores on both desktop and mobile; you can view the reports below.
